Senior Research Associate
Lead mixed-method research assignments — from study design and data collection to analysis and report writing — for government and development sector clients. Manage junior researchers and interface with clients directly.
- Postgraduate in Social Science, Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of development sector research experience
- Proficient in quantitative and qualitative methods
- Strong report writing and client communication skills
- Experience with SurveyCTO, SPSS, or NVivo preferred
MEL Specialist
Design and manage MEL systems for CSDR's programme clients. Develop Theories of Change, LogFrames, indicator matrices, and monitoring dashboards. Conduct data quality reviews and facilitate learning workshops.
- Postgraduate in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, or related
- 4+ years of MEL-specific experience in development sector
- Strong in LogFrame design and Theory of Change facilitation
- Power BI or Tableau dashboard experience preferred
IEC & Communication Specialist
Design, manage, and evaluate IEC campaigns for government health, nutrition, and rural development programmes. Combine audience research with creative production skills and campaign management capability.
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, or Media Studies
- 2+ years of IEC campaign management in development sector
- Design proficiency (Canva/Adobe) and Hindi content expertise
- Social media platform management experience preferred
Social Media Manager
Manage social media strategy and content delivery for CSDR's government and development sector clients. Content creation, community management, analytics reporting, and multilingual content production.
- Graduate in Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field
- 2+ years managing institutional/government social media accounts
- Fluent Hindi and English content creation skills
- Proficient in social media analytics and scheduling tools
Research Associate — Field Operations
Conduct household surveys, FGDs, and KIIs across field assignments in UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, and MP. Supervise enumerator teams, ensure data quality, and manage field logistics for CSDR research projects.
- Graduate in Social Sciences, Sociology, or Social Work
- 1+ year of field data collection experience (CAPI/paper)
- Willingness to travel extensively to rural field locations
- Hindi fluency essential; regional language skills a plus
Policy Advocacy Coordinator
Coordinate CSDR's policy advocacy assignments — facilitating stakeholder consultations, developing evidence-based policy briefs, managing media engagement, and supporting coalition-building initiatives for civil society clients.
- Postgraduate in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, or related
- 2+ years in policy advocacy or civil society roles
- Strong analytical writing and stakeholder facilitation skills
- Understanding of Indian legislative and policy processes
