What types of organisations does CSDR work with?+
CSDR works with central and state government departments, bilateral and multilateral development agencies, NGOs and civil society organisations, foundations and trusts, and individual donors. We have experience with both large institutional clients and smaller community-based organisations.
How does CSDR accept donations and are they tax-deductible?+
CSDR accepts donations via bank transfer. As a registered society with 12A and 80G certificates, donations are eligible for a 50% tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. We issue official 80G receipts within 7 working days of receiving a donation. Visit our Donate page for bank details.
How quickly can CSDR mobilise a research team for a new assignment?+
For straightforward research assignments, CSDR can typically mobilise within 2–3 weeks of contract signing — including finalising study tools, training field teams, and establishing the MIS. For larger or more complex studies requiring multi-state coordination, we recommend planning 4–6 weeks for mobilisation.
Does CSDR have the capacity to conduct field surveys across multiple states simultaneously?+
Yes. CSDR has established field partnerships across 23 states enabling multi-state simultaneous fieldwork. Our founding team has managed studies in 31 states/UTs in prior professional roles, including NFHS-6 in Assam. We have experienced field supervisors and can deploy CAPI-based data collection via SurveyCTO or KoboToolbox.
Can CSDR manage our government department's social media accounts?+
Yes. CSDR offers end-to-end social media management for government departments and development organisations — including content strategy, monthly content calendars, graphic design, Hindi and regional language content, community management, and monthly analytics reports. We are experienced in government communication requirements and sensitivities.
